In town visiting from Sydney. Went in for lunch with my boyfriend and we had the veggie burger. It was one of the best veggie burgers Ive ever had, so tasty! And you cant go wrong with beer battered fries.
Unfortunately for me this place did not meet my expectations. The menu is small, overpriced and ordinary. The decor screams trying too hard, I thought their choice of art and objects to display was very poorly thought out, I don't understand how dead trees, poorly painted 50's pinups and "mum fridge magnet quotes" posters go together. I ordered a "beef burger" ($15!), and was expecting something pretty substantial, what I got was a stale bun, a dry plain meat party, one tiny bit of bacon and a few slices of tomato, lettuce and beetroot. It sits on the plate smaller than the same offerings from elsewhere in town which are around $6-7 and has to be one of the worst burgers I've eaten in the Hunter. Came with a few chips which were far better than the burger itself.Nice staff saves it from 1 star but I will never spend money here again. It's a tacky overpriced rip-off.

Nice menu, good food and fast & courteous service. The caf is also spacious & cool.
Stopped here with kids and Mrs on the way through town. Only had burgers but they were spot on! Quick friendly service no complaints at all and awesome food.
