Cute little country station with undercover waiting area. Has Opal card system for metro trains, Dungog being the last stop on the line. Also Countrylink trains stop here if booked online. Station has ramps and is accessible

Not a lot of trains stopping here anymore. No ticket machine or any way to recharge Opal cards at the station. The best bet is IGA up the main street if they are open. There is also no proper disabled access, and you have to physically cross the tracks to get to either platform. Could use some improvements.

Dungog Railway Station is a terminus for some NSW Trainlink passenger services. The station is in operation, with 2 platforms.

5 trains per day is ridiculous it's a bustling town with an iga and other lot of shops..but not many people get off here most people drive cars...so no bus service as well 12:20 something then ya stuck at train station till 5:30 something..apart from normal trainxpt also stops there...if it wasnt for the snobby xpt service stopping here with its snobby staff on board the train..this train station would have closed down years ago no jokeonly redeeming feature is nice brickwork alot of train station not developed at allwhich it should be done to get in more peopleand station staff once you see them are more friendly than xpt staff..no joke.
